Our team has replaced legacy access switching with resilient designs using stacked switching, dual high-speed data-centre uplinks, centralized NAC, 802.1X, and staged cutover planning.
Project challenge
Modernize office access infrastructure serving workstations, phones, printers, access-control devices, wireless, and other endpoints without disrupting business operations.
Delivery
- The team designed the target switching and wireless architecture and selected switching, optics, cabling, and NAC licensing.
- The team built dual Layer-2 high-speed uplinks to separate data centres with gateway and path failover.
- The team implemented resilient NAC integrated with directory services for 802.1X and MAC-based authentication.
- The team prepared cable maps, port documentation, routing/VLAN designs, rollback plans, monitoring, and day-one support.
Outcome
A documented, identity-aware access network delivered through a staged cutover with operational visibility and long-term supportability built in.
Technology and methods
Client-confidential case study. Client-identifying information, addressing, credentials, security-sensitive configuration, and other protected details are intentionally omitted.
